Hello Commander.
Council Meeting
Ashelin gritted her teeth, trying not to show her anger against Count Veger, but to keep the meeting in order. Count Veger, you are clearly overstepping your boundaries.Ashelin said “What about all the times Jak saved the city? Why are you pointing fingers at him! He’s just the scapegoat in all this, isn’t it?
Ashelin said “I assure you, the families of the guard were alerted that they were not coming back. She looked sadly. I’m not a superhero, i cannot do everything.
“I propose an update to the Krimzon Guard starting today, changing the name to the Freedom Guard. They will fight for the freedom of the city.
“I am overstepping my bounds?” Veger asked. “You are the one proposing that we sweep the Guard’s actions under the rug.”
“That’s a little unfair, Veger,” a councilman said. “She just wants to change the name to something that the people won’t associate with a police state.”
Before Ashelin got up and tried to calm the council down from Veger’s persuading words, she got up and knocked the podium “Order, Order. I said, Order in here. I’ve reached my final judgement.
Ashelin sat down and gritted her teeth, she had no choice. Veger had essentially more power then her at the time. Ashelin looked a bit downtrodden but she would make up for it in time. “The last part of this meeting is deciding what to do with Jak.” She had a idea where this was going.
Ashelin was focused on the meeting and what could happen, but Veger seemed to be focused on making her look bad even if it he tried to hide it. “Count… You can’t just demand Justice on EVERY guard we have..” “These guards have families and they don’t deserve to be…

Another member of the council agreed about ending the dark warrior program too. Governess, i have another question.”Ashelin got up and noted the city council’s reactions before she started to talk “One question at a time. Veger has the floor.”
Ashelin nodded…
Ashelin was focused on the meeting and what could happen, but Veger seemed to be focused on making her look bad even if it he tried to hide it. “Count… You can’t just demand Justice on EVERY guard we have..” “These guards have families and they don’t deserve to be kicked out because of my father!”She knew Veger was trying to point fingers at her new appointed Commander, Torn. Ashelin looked annoyed, and slammed her fist on the table “Commander Torn is doing all he can to protect the city. I assure you…
She and Torn held a secret relationship between each other and were actually Trying to help the city. “Do you think i want to hurt the city, Count?” “I’ve proved time and time again i can be better than my father”
Another member spoke up “What about the three way war going on right now, Governess?”
Ashelin had gotten from the palace with a large case prepacked with important documents found in her father’s cabinets where he kept all the paperwork. She stopped at the main meeting hall assemblage place, the crowds of Haven newscasters and reporters crowded the…

Ashelin nodded “Sadly, this is true. ” She brought out papers on the program and nodded. “Yes, Count Veger, the dark warrior program must be stopped right away. All agree to abolishment of the dark warrior program, say yes.”

The Count weaved his way through the crowd of reporters and bystanders on his way into the Palace. This was a momentous occasion for the city. With Baron Praxis dead and buried, the City Council was going to meet for the first time in years.
The Council had once acted as both an advising body and…
Ashelin had gotten from the palace with a large case prepacked with important documents found in her father’s cabinets where he kept all the paperwork. She stopped at the main meeting hall assemblage place, the crowds of Haven newscasters and reporters crowded the governess asking all sorts of questions, getting in her face. “Governess! Governess question… How will you handle-” “Your father..he..-“
She avoided the newscasters and reporters questions and headed upstairs as she parked her zoomer. The city council had already arrived which was a good thing. She walked to the main chair and sat in front of an area where she looked over the council for now, but that lone chair where Torn was going to talk but that would have to wait. Ashelin got up removing papers from her case, and straightened them “Greetings… I am Governess Ashelin, for those of you new to the city council.” “But right now, enough for the introductions. We have numerous topics to talk about”
